Marianne Brannock-Hill, CTP CEP, President & CEO, Chairman
Marianne Brannock-Hill is an entrepreneur, advisor, consultant, and educator. She founded and is the President of FatRabbit Services, Inc., the first educational institute solely developed for the advancement of stock plan professionals and those in related fields. She also manages complex consulting projects in the Equity / Stock Administration arena.
Ms. Brannock-Hill has 23 years experience as analyst, consultant and corporate manager in Corporate Finance, Treasury, Accounting, Stock Administration, Human Resources, and Payroll. She has experience working for private and public corporations ranging in headcount from 25 to 5,000 employees. She has worked for Altera Corp, Octel Communications, Lam Research, StockPlan Inc., Credence Systems, Alcatel/Genesys and Borland Software and numerous small companies as a consultant. She has 20+ years working on the Equity Edge software application, and some experience on Transcentive’s EO Win, eProper's CapM system, and EASi’s EMS.
She has extensive experience with FAS123 reporting for pro forma net income statement and EPS; FAS 123(R) transitional and implementation process work; Sarbanes-Oxley project work writing narratives, testing controls, and doing audit walk-throughs; all aspects of equity accounting including journal entries, general ledger account analysis and reconciliations, audit schedules and preparation for quarter-end and year-end; historical data capture for APIC / Tax deferred asset accounts; SEC financial reporting for the equity sections of the 10-K, 10-Qs, the financial footnotes and the Proxy Statement. Her consulting work also encompasses M&A assignments and due diligence for the Stock and Options conversions; coordinating implementation to full or partial out-sourcing; and all aspects of Corporate Treasury, Banking, Investments, and Foreign Exchange.
She created and developed, along with several certified colleagues, the Stock Administration Training and the CEP Exam Prep Programs. She is the co-lead instructor for the semi-annual CEP exam prep courses. She is also the developer and the Lead Instructor for the Stock Administration programs. The classes provide basic and advanced instruction in the Stock Administration field. Students range from newcomers to executives.
She volunteers for the local chapter of the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals (NASPP) where she is currently on the Executive Committee as Treasurer. She has held positions for four years. She is also a member of the Association of Finance Professionals (AFP), the National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO), World at Work, Global Equity Organization (GEO), the American Payroll Association, CFO.com, and the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA).
She is a frequent speaker at the national and local levels of the NASPP.
Ms. Brannock-Hill has a BA in Business Management from St. Mary’s College with an emphasis in Finance. She obtained her designation as a Certified Equity Professional, CEP, from Santa Clara University, 2000, and obtained her designation as a Certified Treasury Professional, CTP, in 2001.
